It's Sunday and we're home playing in the snow. Last night Brianna got the news first - a text from her friend saying that church was cancelled due to the impending storm. A few minutes later we got the call that it was official. We woke up to 5 inches of new snow and it's still snowing. All of you in Utah will laugh at this but with no plows life pretty much shuts down up here. They closed the schools last week for 3 days. I went to the grocery store on Friday along with everyone else. The lines were 35 minutes long and I'm not exaggerating.
We found we have a Livvy sized hill for sledding in our own backyard so I went out and took some pictures.
We're due for another storm on Wednesday and then the rain will move in and melt all of this snow. It's our 3rd winter here and we still haven't experienced "normal". Normal snow is half an inch that is gone the next day because the rain washed it away. It's not nice powder snow either. This stuff is heavy and wet. More like white cement. It's pretty and we're enjoying it anyway.
